Announced to great acclaim at the 2016 SEMA show, the Ford Mustang GT4 features carbon fibre doors, roof, engine hood and more, a rear wing and diffuser contributing to advanced aerodynamics, and a high-performance 580hp, 5.2-liter V8 engine with 6-speed sequential transmission. Designed and engineered jointly by Ford Performance and Multimatic Motorsports, it is active in races across the globe, taking on rivals from other major manufacturers in the competitive GT4 class.

The brawny Mustang GT4 form is recreated in style with a realistically spartan interior featuring bucket seats, fire extinguisher and a roll cage, with a decal-depicted Motec monitor. Separate parts are also used to depict the air jack compressor and various electronic equipment. Other features include a realistic rendering of the suspension including the dedicated rear control arms. The side mirror and rear view mirrors use metal-plated parts. Separate engine underside and gear case components give an authentic finish. The engine hood has extensive air vents and side outlets and fasteners. Separate parts make for easier painting. The carbon fibre rear wing surfaces are recreated by decals. Muffler tips and light cases are plated parts. The underside shows great style with diffuser, mufflers and numerous other details. There is plenty to admire on the wheels, with accurate slitted brake discs, calipers and slick tires.

This model measures 203mm (length) by 87mm (width) by 57mm (height). Decals are included for the number 17 car from the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed, or the number 18 official car from 2018, together with comprehensive masking stickers to use when painting.
