Hornby R3906 GBRf Class 47/7 Co-Co 47739.
Class 47/7 locomotives, designed by Brush Traction, are a modification of Class 47/4 locomotives, being fitted with long range fuel tanks and new cabling to work with Propelling Control Vehicles (PCV) on mail carrying services. In December 2017, GBRf purchased three Class 47/7 locomotives from Colas Railfreight; 47727, 47739 and 47749, as all were excess to Colas' requirements. Two of the locomotives, 47739 and 47749, were repainted by Arlington Fleet Services at Eastleigh, before moving to Leicester to work on stock movements while 47727 continued in service with the Caledonian Sleeper, having been on long term hire to GBRf anyway.
This mode is 251mm (length) and is decorated in GBRf, Rail Blue livery.
