These wagons were designed for the efficient transportation of steel in sheet or roll form. They were built by Linke Hoffmann Busch in Germany in 1979, originally for VTG and then more recently for Tiphook. The wagon was designated KIA under the TOPS nomenclature.

This model features highly detailed body moulding with sliding roof and body section, many separately added components and etched details, profiled wheels and accurately applied livery. It comes with steel coil loads.
