Oxford Diecast MM051 1:43 Scale Ovaltine Van.
Measuring 82mm (length) by 35mm (width) by 37mm (height) this 1:43 scale diecast model Morris Minor van makes an eyecatching scenic accessory for O gauge model railway layouts.
The Morris Minor 1000 was introduced in 1956 and from this original car all sorts of variations were introduced. These included vans, commercial vehicles , pick-ups and campers.
Ovaltine was developed in Switzerland, where it is known by its original name, Ovomaltine (from ovum, Latin for "egg", and malt, originally its main ingredients). Ovomaltine was exported to the UK in 1909; it was a misspelling in the trademark registration process that led to the name being truncated to Ovaltine in English-speaking markets.
A factory was built in the UK for Ovaltine's manufacture, and this was initially used to export to the United States as well.
