Hornby R3753 Beggs Tooling Class 264 Pug 0-4-0St 854

Hornby R3753 Beggs Tooling Class 264 Pug 0-4-0ST 854.

‘The Celtic Yardie’, these small 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotives, designed by Dugald Drummond, were built in Scotland during the late Victorian and early Edwardian eras and were mainly used as shunting engines in railway works yards around Glasgow. Some locomotives lasted until 1962, well into British Railways’ service, with a number being sold on to private industrial companies for use on factory railway sidings.

This model is 108mm (length) and decorated in Beggs Tooling livery.

Please note that this locomotive is DCC compatible but has no socket so it will require hard wiring.
