Dapol 2S-009-006D 38xx 3846 BR Black Early Emblem.

The Great Western 2884 is a class of 2-8-0 heavy freight locomotives that were used extensively on GWR routes between 1938 and nationalisation in 1948. In total 167 were built of which 9 survive into preservation. They were hugely popular with their crews and were often requested post nationalisation by ex-GWR engineers, but largely these requests were refused and in the main the fleet was soon replaced by the 9F.

These great little models feature finely moulded body and tender with many optional detailing parts, cast wheel in the appropriate colour to match livery, a tungsten chassis with 14 wheel pick up, a tender drive system including traction tyres, etched cab numbers, a coreless motor for smoother operation, both standard and knuckle couplings and a spares bag with additional detailing parts.

It is decorated in BR Black livery and measures 131mm (length including buffers) by 19mm (width) by 27mm (height).
