Hornby R3677 LMS Streamlined Princess Coronation Class 'Duchess of Hamilton'.
Designed by Sir William Stanier and built at Crewe in 1938 as the last of the streamlined 'Coronations', Duchess of Hamilton entered service on September 10th. At the same time, the LMS had accepted an invitation from the organizers of the World's Fair in New York to send a streamlined train out to the exposition. As the newest of the 'Coronations', 6229 was selected, the name and numbers being swapped between 6229 Duchess of Hamilton and 6220 Coronation.
This model measures 362mm (length) and decorated in LMS Crimson Lake livery.

Please be aware that you should not permanently fit any parts until you are certain that there will be no fouling during use. Depending on layout configuration some detail components are only suitable for fitting if the model is on static display.
