Hornby R3346 Class 92 92009 Marco Polo - DB Schenker

The class 92 is a dual voltage electric locomotive which can either run on overhead wires or 3rd rail pick up. They were designed to run on lines that had electrification but could switch between the two power methods to operate on multiple routes. The main use for these locomotives was heavy freight but due to the dual voltage system they could be used overseas as well as in the UK.
