The need for Austin to create uniform coloured vehicles across the country was very difficult, with local dealers adopting different styles. This led to various newsletters requesting the use of Austin Stone Grey, Austin Claret or Austin Blue. Slogans were also suggested, such as "You can depend on Austin Service" or "Express Spare Parts Delivery". This Austin K8 is shown in the Mann Egerton livery.
