The Austin Cambridge was built by the Austin Motor Company at the Cowley, Oxford works. It was produced between 1954 and 1969 with the van version going on until 1971. The A60 was launched in 1961 and ceased production in 1969, during which time over 276,000 were made. Features of this four-door family saloon included rear seating for three people, a 1.6L engine and 3-speed gearbox. This model is decorated in Persian Blue with chrome side stripes featuring a white coloured infill. The interior is black. In real life, the A60 featured reduced tail fins and the body covered a slightly longer wheelbase chassis, all faithfully reproduced on our new model. Bumpers, wheels, and radiator grille are all silver, as are door handles and window surrounds. The black and silver Austin badge is applied to the radiator and the Austin Cambridge signature printed in silver runs across the boot.
