Additional character can be given to these models by using the 'weathering' process. Simply apply a little well diluted watercolour (not acrylic) with a brush and wipe the surface with a soft dry cloth after the paint has been allowed to dry for a while. The advantage of using water soluble colour is that the model can be washed clean if you are not happy with first result.
