The Railway Conductor Model Shop
The J15 class were produced in 1883 at Stratford Works. These powerful mixed traffic locomotives were light weight but very versatile so were given route availability 1 which meant they could run on all routes. 43 of these locomotives served France and Belgium in WW1 and a few of them are still in preservation.
Hornby have produced this highly detailed model which includes a diecast boiler, removable coal load and lots of external details. It also includes NEM couplings and an electrical pick up on the tender. A beautiful model and a must own on any British steam era layout
